Character Development: If you’re not growing, you’re dying…

This is the hard truth and a saying that people often hear but never really apply the concept to their knowledge and character. Sadly, we become so setback and procrastinate from time to time and we deplete our confidence and motivation to accomplish a given task. Let us take a look at creation, if you look closely you will realize that plants are ever-growing species but some plants thrive better in a certain condition than some, but the point I’m bringing across is that plants are always flourishing. They can’t walk or talk but they were created to provide the majority of our necessities in life, but for us we need to understand why things grow and what is the result in the end. When you become lazy and tell yourself you just can’t bother, you have defeated yourself in doubt and requested for the process of dying. In that moment you have killed your passions and desires to follow your heart, to become a creative and unique individual. Many times we let our environment and persons influence us in the wrong perspective of life, having us to think it’s impossible and even because of our personal failures. What we must understand is that our destiny is planned out by the Almighty one and if we don’t walk within that path then we’re basically telling God and ourselves that we wish not to grow.  Growth is the aspect that is required for us in life to reach our ordained abilities and purpose and that’s why I will say, “if you’re not growing, you’re dying.”
